Park City is a ski resort in Utah. It offers 3,226 feet of vertical drop, 7,300 skiable acres, 330 marked runs, served by 41 lifts, with an average of about 355" of snow a year. Park City Mountain opened on December 21, 1963 as Treasure Mountains, created by United Park City Mines as part of an effort to revive the mining town's economy. The resort's early history included a nearly three-mile underground 'skier subway.' Park City Mountain also provides ski-and-ride access to historic Main Street.
