About Alpine Meadows
Alpine Meadows is a ski resort in California. It offers 1,802 feet of vertical drop, 2,400 skiable acres, 100 marked runs, served by 12 lifts, with an average of about 495" of snow a year. Alpine Meadows opened in 1961 and later combined operations with the former Squaw Valley. It now functions as the Alpine side of Palisades Tahoe, connected to the Olympic Valley side by Base to Base Gondola.
